What Safari Kenya is
safarikenya.org is an independent reference guide to safari in Kenya: every significant national park and reserve with verified entry fees, a complete database of all 117 camps in the Greater Masai Mara, field guides to the wildlife, and plain-English explanations of the laws that affect visitors. We don't sell safaris, take booking commissions, or charge camps to be listed.
How our camp listings work
Our Masai Mara database aims to list every camp in the ecosystem, and camps never pay to appear or to rank — there are no paid listings and no booking commissions. One camp, Tor's Camp, holds a clearly-labelled “featured” slot because it does something rare: genuine luxury inside the reserve itself. Every one of the other 116 camps is presented with the same fields and the same care, one click away for comparison.
How we keep information current
- Fees: park and reserve fees are re-verified against official sources and dated — currently “verified July 2026” across the site. If a date looks stale, tell us.
- The camp database: new camps are added as they open; closures and rebrands are corrected as we confirm them.
- Corrections: run a camp, guide the parks, or spot an error? Email hello@safarikenya.org — corrections ship fast and gratefully.
What this site is not
We are not a booking agent, not a tour operator, and nothing here is legal or medical advice. Where the stakes are formal — visas, park rules, drone law — our guides summarise and link the official channels so you can verify for yourself.
