About Fairmont Mara Safari Club
Tented suites ringed by a horseshoe bend of the Mara River in Ol Chorro — four-poster beds, river decks and the northern plains’ rhino project nearby.
The area: Ol Chorro Oiroua Conservancy
A small, long-established conservancy in the Mara North area, home to a rhino sanctuary project and sweeping views over the Mara River valley.
What it's like
Intimate and little-visited, with a handful of lodges; known for white rhino conservation work and balloon launches over the northern plains.
Getting there & fees
By road via Aitong or fly to Mara North airstrip.
Conservancy fees (typically US$100–150 per adult per night) are bundled into camp rates here and paid to Maasai landowning families; reserve entry fees apply only on days you cross into the reserve itself.
