Hilly, wooded country east of the reserve beyond Sekenani, protected by around 3,000 Maasai landowners. A mix of high-end camps and community-run properties share the area.
What it's like
Beautiful broken terrain that hides elephant, buffalo and leopard; quieter drives plus walking and night drives outside the reserve rules.
Getting there & fees
Closest to Sekenani Gate — convenient for reserve day trips; Siana Springs and Keekorok airstrips serve the area.
Conservancy fees (typically US$100–150 per adult per night) are bundled into camp rates here and paid to Maasai landowning families; reserve entry fees apply only on days you cross into the reserve itself.
