About Nashulai Conservancy Camps

Simple community-run stays inside the Maasai-founded Nashulai conservancy on the Sekenani corridor — storytelling nights, village life and conservation you fund directly.

The area: Nashulai Maasai Conservancy

The first conservancy in the Mara founded, owned and run entirely by Maasai — created in 2016 along the Sekenani River corridor. Communities, cattle and wildlife deliberately share the land.

What it's like

A cultural-conservation stay more than a classic game-viewing base: village life, storytelling and a celebrated elephant corridor, with the reserve a short drive away.

Getting there & fees

On the Sekenani road, about 10 minutes from Sekenani Gate.

Conservancy fees (typically US$100–150 per adult per night) are bundled into camp rates here and paid to Maasai landowning families; reserve entry fees apply only on days you cross into the reserve itself.
