About Porini Cheetah Camp
Gamewatchers’ second Ol Kinyei hideaway in a private valley — named for the conservancy’s resident cheetah families, run on sun and community leases.
The area: Ol Kinyei Conservancy
One of the original Mara conservancies (2005), some 18,700 acres of valleys and open plains east of Naboisho, set aside by the Ol Kinyei Maasai community. It has repeatedly won Kenya’s top conservancy awards.
What it's like
Genuinely exclusive — only a couple of small eco-camps operate here, so sightings are rarely shared. Resident lion prides, cheetah and fine birding.
Getting there & fees
Via Ol Seki airstrip or by road from Narok through Sekenani; game drives can extend into Naboisho and the reserve.
Conservancy fees (typically US$100–150 per adult per night) are bundled into camp rates here and paid to Maasai landowning families; reserve entry fees apply only on days you cross into the reserve itself.
